Take a look at the video above and let me know if I missed anything as it does flip between new features quickly. Also, we have heard little about any enterprise features ( besides secure browsing) too.Īs you can see from this post, there are quite a few minor enhancements coming to Windows 10 this spring. I do think there will be more features coming to the OS, as we have yet to hear anything about the Blue Light feature that is Microsoft’s take on f.lux. Microsoft is changing up the UI of Defender to match the rest of Windows 10 you can see the new layout in the image above. That said, the interface is updated and allows for sorting too. Maps has a new collection feature and it’s not clear if this is Favorites being renamed or, it could be the same collections feature from Bing Maps on the web. In the video, they show how you can quickly open an email window that also doubles as a Skype chat box too. The area on the taskbar that has your quick contacts makes it easy to share content with them. The app store will have a new personalization tab and it appears that this section will sell themes for Windows 10. This appears to be new and coming with the next update to Windows. If you look at the accent color image above, look at the right side there is a new video area, help section, and related links. If you use an accent color with Windows 10, you will soon be able to set a custom color use the color picker. Phát hàng triu bài hát và podcast trên thit b ca bn. For audio and brightness, a slider is now available which is a huge improvement over the pre-defined settings currently used today. There is also a session manager coming to Edge as well, as you can see in the screenshot above, it makes it easy to restore tabs from prior browsing sessions.Īction Center is getting refreshed with the Quick Action items no longer using large blocks for every button. Of course, it is a free app, so don’t expect a robust tool but it should be enough for basic needs.īased on the demo of Word, you will be able to use a pen to strikethrough text to have it deleted from a document.Įdge has a new tab browser feature that makes it easier to navigate open tabs with the page-preview open. It appears to be a relatively simple-to-use media creation tool that should let you create tracks without the need to buy any new software. Perhaps also has something to do with some bizarre internal folder structure that Apple uses for their music that is separate from Spotify and my car can only read the Apple folder structure.Seeing as this build is targeted at creators, Microsoft will be introducing a new music creation tool called Groove music maker. 3 months free not available for users who have already tried Premium. In the meantime you could create a playlist that has the same name as the album does and download that one. I did find some threads that referenced that Spotify couldn't put downloaded tracks on a usb drive due to DRM which makes sense and I'm wondering if this is something similar but since the Apple Music downloaded tracks are accessable I wanted to verify. Unfortunately, right now, its not possible to download individual albums on the desktop client. With that functionality in mind, my head unit sees downloaded tracks from Apple Music, but doesnt see downloaded Tracks from Spotify. My problem is a little different because I dont have CarPlay on my stereo which is what that thread is referring to, my car is too old and just has generic ipod connectivity.įor mine it is more like the head unit accesses the iphone like a glorified usb hard drive/ thumb drive so I can browse downloaded tracks and playlists play, pause, etc. Thanks for the reply, that was a fascenating thread with some great info. This doesnt seem to be the case with Spotify, even if I download songs onto my phone they arent visible to the car stereo.Īm I missing something or is this functionality not available? Seeing as both are subscription music services I would expect similar DRM limitations and capabilities, but it seems that Apple Music is much more friendly with making downloaded tracks available through ipod connectivity. Which is great because I can have some "go to" albums that are easy to access and dont have to look at a tiny phone screen. When I download songs though Apple Music, they show on my car stereo display and I can use its controls to access album, artist, playlist, etc. My car (Infiniti g37) has ipod (iphone6 in my case) connectivity, so I can listen to both Apple Music and Spotify through the usb connection as well as forward and reverse songs through the steering wheel controls, great! I am currently a subscriber to Apple Music but wanted to try Spotify premium because it is less limited to a particular ecosystem.
